On Mother's Day 2006, the crew of Fanboy Radio puts down their funny books for a few minutes to give respect to the ladies that made everything possible for us - their moms. Scott, Oliver, Sean and Meg are joined in the studio by Scott's Mom as other mothers join the show over the phone. The Fanboys and girls cover the world of comics and pop culture as usual but also discuss the origin of Mother's Day, a maternal 'Sub Or Flub' session and 'Mom-Friendly Recommended Reads.' |

After a wonderful weekend at Zeus Comics' Free Comic Book Day event, CAPE2 - the second 'Comic And Pop culture Expo,' hosts Scott Hinze, Oliver Tull, TJ Colligan, Meg Ficsher, and guest Jim Lujan all meet at the Fanboy Radio Studios to talk about the past few days of comic book goodness. At CAPE, Fanboy Radio had a voting booth where guests of the free event could vote on 'The 3rd (Not So) Annual Fannie Awards'. And just like every one hundredth episode of FbR, the final winners are announced - but this time, it's live! In addition to a complete CAPE report and the award show, the crew takes time to answer listeners' live calls and even do a quick round of the ever-popular 'Sub Or Flub.' |
